Domain Name Registrant Agreement
1. Introduction This Domain Name Registrant Agreement (“Agreement”) is between Vision ICT (“Registrar”) and the individual or entity (“Registrant”) applying for a domain name registration. By registering a domain name through Vision ICT, the Registrant agrees to the terms and conditions outlined herein.
2. Definitions
- Registrar: Vision ICT, responsible for providing domain name registration services.
- Registrant: The individual or entity applying for the registration of a domain name.
- Domain Name: The unique name registered by the Registrant.
- Registry: The organization responsible for maintaining the registry of domain names.
3. Agreement Acceptance By submitting a domain registration application, the Registrant accepts and agrees to abide by the terms of this Agreement.
4. Domain Name Registration
- The Registrant must provide accurate and complete information during the registration process.
- The Registrar reserves the right to suspend or cancel the domain registration if false information is provided.
5. Fees and Payment
- The Registrant agrees to pay all applicable fees for domain registration, renewal, and any additional services.
- Payment terms are due upon receipt of the invoice and must be settled as per the specified due date.
6. Term and Renewal
- The initial term of the domain registration is one year from the date of registration.
- The domain name will automatically renew unless the Registrant provides notice of termination prior to the renewal date.
7. Registrant Obligations
- The Registrant must maintain accurate contact information and promptly update any changes.
- The Registrant agrees to comply with all applicable laws and registry policies.
8. Vision ICT’s Rights and Responsibilities
- Vision ICT shall provide domain registration services in accordance with industry standards and registry policies.
- The Registrar is responsible for maintaining records of the domain registration and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
9. Dispute Resolution
- Disputes regarding domain names will be resolved in accordance with the Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy (UDRP).
10. Limitation of Liability
- Vision ICT shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the domain registration services.
11. Termination
- Either party may terminate this Agreement with written notice if the other party breaches any material terms of this Agreement.
12. Amendments
- Vision ICT reserves the right to amend this Agreement. Registrants will be notified of any changes via email or website posting.
13. Governing Law
- This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
14. Third Party Terms
- The registration, renewal, and use of your domain name are also subject to the third-party terms and conditions of the relevant domain registry. You are responsible for ensuring that you are aware of and comply with these terms.
- Registrants of UK domains (.uk, .co.uk, .me.uk, .org.uk, .ltd.uk) will enter into an agreement with Nominet UK, the Internet registry for .uk domain names. Nominet terms and conditions can be found at Nominet UK Policies.
- For Registrants applying for .gov.uk domain names, additional terms and conditions apply as outlined by the UK Government. These can be accessed at GOV.UK Additional Terms. The Registrant agrees to comply with these additional terms.
