WHO ARE YOU AND WHAT IS YOUR JOB ROLE?

I’m Morgan Gosling and I’m the Client & Technical Support manager. I am your point of contact for any assistance with your site once it is up and running. I am also the email administrator.

WHAT DOES A TYPICAL WORK DAY LOOK LIKE FOR YOU?  

In support, there is no ‘typical’ day, as my workload depends entirely on what the clients need. I start work at 09:00 and check the emails that come in over night to see what I need to start doing (has email gone down, are the websites up and running, etc.). I will then check the tickets and start whatever needs doing, prioritising those who have Extra Hands contracts. I also am starting to do training as well, using Teams or Zoom.

WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO OUTSIDE OF WORK?

Outside of work I have many interests and hobbies. I am studying to become a Reiki master, I am an avid gamer and I also enjoy making jewellery, model making, watching movies, reading, drawing and playing guitar and bass.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE BOOK/TV PROGRAMME/MOVIE?   

Favourite movie has to be the original Star Wars. I was 7 when it came out and it captured my imagination and hasn’t let go! My favourite TV programme is a bit of a toughie, but if I had to narrow it down to one, it would have to be Blake’s 7. I love the dark tone of the show which really set it apart from anything else in the sci-fi universe at the time. My favourite book is actually a series, The Demon Prince series by Jack Vance.

WHAT WOULD YOUR SUPERHERO NAME BE AND WHAT SUPERPOWER WOULD YOU HAVE? 

I guess due to my photosensitivity, I would have to be called Eclipse and have the ability to plunge an area into perpetual night. Although that does sound a bit more villain than hero!

WHEN THEY ASKED YOU WHAT JOB YOU WANTED TO HAVE WHEN YOU WERE A CHILD, HOW DID YOU ANSWER? 

After seeing Jason & The Argonauts in the cinema as a kid, I always wanted to get in to movie special effects and modelling. That didn’t quite pan out!

I have played Scrabble with the one named Stormtrooper in the original Star Wars trilogy (TK421)
