WHO ARE YOU AND WHAT IS YOUR JOB ROLE? 

My name is Magda and I am the Account Manager here at Vision ICT. I am your first point of contact and manage your website design process to ensure it is completed in timely manner.

WHAT DOES A TYPICAL WORK DAY LOOK LIKE FOR YOU?

I work from home hence I often start my day with making myself and my dog Rocco comfortable in the office. My day starts with cup of coffee and quick run through the emails. I attend to priority emails and review progress of our current projects. We usually have several website being created at once hence good organisation is essential!

WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO OUTSIDE OF WORK?

I like sightseeing, I recently moved to a new town hence I have lots of places to explore. I like spending time with my husband and the doggo. This usually means that we can be found on a local field or on the couch. When I am alone I like reading books and learning. I am passionate about psychology and completed several courses in this area.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE BOOK/TV PROGRAMME/MOVIE?

Some of my favourite books are written by Polish authors hence hard to pronounce. One of the most recent book that I have read is ‘Okrutna jak Polka’ (‘Cruel as a Polish Woman’), an interesting collection of short text about patriarchal society and it’s effect on the way how Polish women speak and behave towards each other. It speaks a lot about keeping and respecting of boundaries. I like psychological books hence read many books by Irvin D. Yalom. The audiobook that I have listen to the most is ‘The Restaurant at the End of Universe’ by Douglas Adams, it get’s me to sleep most nights!

WHAT WOULD YOUR SUPERHERO NAME BE AND WHAT SUPERPOWER WOULD YOU HAVE?

I had to think about it. I would like to be able to sooth emotions. I spend many years volunteering and working with people in psychological crisis and I am sure that this would be a great power to have. I could be then named Serene then.

WHEN THEY ASKED YOU WHAT JOB YOU WANTED TO HAVE WHEN YOU WERE A CHILD, HOW DID YOU ANSWER?

I wanted to be a wife of mafioso. My life took a turn in completely wrong direction as I met my husband in Samaritans, where both of us volunteered.

Since, I was a teenager I wanted to be a psychologist, I now completed my Masters in Forensic Psychology and hope to carry on my training and become therapist in the future.

CAN YOU TELL US A FUN FACT ABOUT YOURSELF?

My favourite word is ‘stickler’. Probably because I am stickler for far too many things, including wine, coffee and all types of food.
